Can I resell my land for more money?
The short answer: Yes!

Just like anything else that you own, you can sell it at any time. The only stipulation is that you use an agent to act on your behalf to assist with the selling of your land. Recall that 10% of the buyer's allocation is given to charity, and 10% goes to the agent, so if you can sell it for a price so that your 80% net is more than you paid for it, everything else that you make is pure profit!

As an example, if you buy $100 worth of property, then turn around and sell it for $150, $15 is donated to charity, $15 goes to the agent for preparing your new deed and getting you the buyer, and the remaining $120 will be yours. This represents a 20% profit for yourself.

Ask yourself the question: How long would it take me to earn 20% keeping my money in a bank account? At today's riculously low interest rates being paid, you would have to wait about 15 years to see a 20% return from a bank. You could technically make this, or more, on a single transaction. Now suppose you made a $1000 purchase which sold for $1500, after the fees have been distributed, you would profit $200 from the transaction.

If you purchase a tract of land that is in an area of other activity, true to the real estate market on earth, prices will rise. Being adept at picking good areas, and telling others about it, will allow you to make greater profits as time goes on.

In short, you can become a successful real estate tycoon with a few well timed purchases and sales. You can then use your profite to accumulate more land, and repeat the process over and over. There is a great deal of land for sale, and opportunities await the intelligent purchaser.
